Focal Point John Hedgecoe

Focal Point is at which the point of the rays and waves meet after the reflection also it is the centre of the subject or interest.

Sir Stanley Spencer, by John Hedgecoe, 1959 - NPG P161 - © John Hedgecoe / Topfoto

In my opinion this image from John Hedgecoe is focal point because the main interest or activity is the main looking out of the window as you just look at him and wonder what he would be/ is looking at. In this photo I most like the way he is positioned and the way the lighting come through the window onto him, that is good as the lighting is spreading over the image so you can see the outline of his body.

I think this link is good because it tells you about the different focal points you can use e.g
    Single, Centre Auto Focus Point
Specific, Single, Off-Centre Auto Focus Point
